Agness Swimming Foundation (ASF) is committed to transparency and accountability. This policy outlines when refunds may be issued for donations and program payments.

1. Donations

Donations are voluntary contributions to ASF’s charitable mission and are generally non-refundable once processed, as funds are quickly allocated to programs.

Refunds may be considered in these cases only:

Duplicate or incorrect payments due to technical error
Unauthorized transactions (subject to AzamPay verification)
Genuine payment errors (e.g. wrong amount)

Requests must be submitted within 14 calendar days to refunds@agnessswimming.or.tz with transaction reference and reason. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 7–30 business days.

2. Training & Program Fees

ASF cancellation — Full refund or credit for future programs
Participant cancellation ≥ 7 days before start — Partial refund (minus reasonable admin costs) at ASF’s discretion
Cancellation < 7 days or no-show — Generally non-refundable (except documented medical emergencies)
Multi-session programs are refunded on a pro-rata basis for unused sessions

3. How to Request a Refund

Email refunds@agnessswimming.or.tz with subject: “Refund Request – [Full Name] – [Transaction ID]”
Include all transaction details and supporting documents
ASF will respond within 10 business days

4. Payment Provider & Governing Law

All payments are processed via AzamPay and subject to their terms and Bank of Tanzania regulations. This Refund Policy is governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, consistent with ASF’s Privacy Policy.

ASF’s Commitment: We handle every request fairly. Please contact us first before initiating a chargeback — it helps us support more children and communities.

By proceeding with a donation you agree that:

All information you provide is accurate and complete
You are authorized to use the mobile money account for this transaction
ASF may use anonymized donation data for impact reporting and donor communications
All policies above (Privacy, Refund, and these Terms) form the complete agreement

This agreement is governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
